I'm a little late in wrapping up my holiday posts (Christmas is in four days!), but I'm thrilled to finally be sharing our entryway and dining room Christmas decorating with you today!

I started decorating for the holidays on November first to get a head start, and somehow I still ended up being late! I still think you'll find some gorgeous inspiration for next year, and this year's Christmas or New Year's table, with my simple and sophisticated red berry centrepiece.

Our entryway is simple and sophisticated also, with a gorgeous collection of monogrammed ginger jars , ceramic Christmas trees and nutcrackers , all from Lauren Haskell Designs . I love everything Lauren offers in her shop, as you probably know by now.

Please come in and take a look at our entryway and dinging room Christmas decorating, and get inspired!

OUR SOPHISTICATED ENTRYWAY CHRISTMAS DECOR Christmas entryway and dining room decorating, beautiful front door with full, lush holiday wreath is festive and welcoming!

If you saw our Christmas porch dressed in classic greenery and red last week, then you recognize our gorgeous front door wreath.

I was so excited when I found it from Canadian Tire – full, lush and sophisticated – it set the tone for our entire holiday home. Christmas decorating in the entryway - console table with a beautify holiday vignette.

Those red berries are what got me. Using the same idea with the beautiful red berries, I pulled out a pair of my green wreaths from my Christmas 2017 living room and kitchen . Sophisticated Christmas decorating - console table with ginger jars, holiday greenery, and a gorgeous lush wreath hung above. I used one wreath here in our entryway, and the other in this year's Christmas kitchen as well. I dressed them up with red berries in various sizes and tied a beautiful bow with red and burgundy satin ribbon. Choosing to use red for my holiday decor this year was such a great decision – I had no idea I loved it so much until I decorated with it!

Even though I love it everywhere else I see it, I was nervous since it was my first time with such a bold color palette, and it proved to be so classic and elegant.

Our new ginger jars are so beautiful – if you saw this year's Christmas living room , you'll recognize them from our bookshelves. I used two large ones with a glass cylinder in the center, to create a symmetrical display.

Flanked by gold reindeer, accented with ceramic trees and nutcrackers, I used festive fairy lights to finish off the look. SO simple.

Our dining room is on the left when you enter our home, and open to our entryway – it's important these two spaces compliment each other, for a cohesive flow between rooms.

This is a small space, only about nine by ten feet, so having two large openings with transoms helps it feel larger and more spacious. A view into and entryway and dining room space that is open to each other, decorated for Christmas with sophisticated style.
